The World of Serving

This blog is meant to inform you all about the juicy life of working for the serving industry, varying from fast food serving all the way to fine dining. You will learn about what exactly it is that we do, how difficult it really is, and general interesting facts about food serving. Being a server for six years now, it is important to make sure that all of you out there understand a couple of things about the life of serving.
I will let you in on experiences I have encountered in the past with people who I have served, the most embarrassing moments I have endured, and what it is that we servers do when we leave the table. Many of you out there are unaware of half the things we do to keep you happy, but here in this blog you will become aware of all of these things. If you think that we don’t talk about you, we most certainly do.
Tipping will obviously be an important topic discussed in this blog mostly because it is how we servers survive, unless they are working in a fast food chain. As unbelievable as it sounds, there are still many people out there that are not aware that they have to tip, how much to tip, and many are not aware that all servers receive, in Indiana, a whopping $2.13 an hour. Welcome to the interesting, dificult, and racy world of serving.
